Systena Corporation based in Japan have previously announced that they are currently developing a Tizen tablet with a 10.1-inch screen running the Tizen OS. The tablet is expected to launch during the smartphones & mobile exhibition EXPO between 23 to 25 October.
As you can see the tablet itself is still at the prototype stage and is running Tizen OS version 2.0.0 of the reference Tizen Magnolia RD-210. This version of the OS is optimised for smartphones and not tablets and therefore the user interface will look large and out of place.
Systena are in the process of porting Tizen 2.1 Nectarine to it ready for the launch event in late October. At this point the tablet is scheduled to be sold to developers and not to the general public.
